About Me
In late 2018, I got interested in eRacing, and by August 2019, had built up a fairly modest portfolio, managing my team "Reedingame Studios Racing" to a third place finish in the original rFactor game's largest championship, with other successes in GPVWC's rf2 ITC championship, and the CFEG 12 Hours of Le Mans.
In November 2019, I started my Duke of Edingburgh award, with my school. As part of my skills section, I decided to take up Karting, and see if my reasonable skill in the simulated car translated at all to some skill in real life karting. Over 3-months of karting throughout the winter, I managed to set the lap record at Midland Karting in Lichfield, and grow my skill in the sport greatly, being given special permission to compete in their Championship, one year below the minimum age for competitors.
Throughout the championship, I have shown consistent pace, competitive with the front of the grid. In my first ever kart race, I was taken out on Lap 1, and started Lap 2 dead last, and half a lap behind. In the end, I fought through the field twice to finish 5th. I continued on to get my first podium, 2nd place, two rounds later.
Above the karting championship, I continued racing in various eSports championships - picking up a podium with my team at the EERC Le Mans 24 hours on rFactor 2.
